Keith comes from five generations of Bay Area residents, as his great-great-great grandfather migrated here from Indiana via a covered wagon. Dumbly, none of his ancestors ever bought property, and at this rate it looks pretty unlikely that he will break that curse, given that he is a graduate student in literature at UC Santa Cruz. Currently, he splits his time between Santa Cruz and San Francisco. His writing has also appeared in Salon, Jacobin and Dissent, and he is currently looking for a literary agent for a novel. Are you a literary agent? Oh, God, please be a literary agent.
