Last week, The Bold Italic teamed up with the Bernal Business Alliance for the Bernal Heights Microhood Holiday Stroll. Over 1,000 people came out to kick off the holiday shopping season and enjoy fantastic deals, drinks, art, live music, and more!

Succulence, a charming plant store specializing in succulent plants and home decor, served delicious hot cider and gave away a free 2" succulent to visitors who spent $25.

The New Wheel, an electric bike shop, had a Christmas tree, warm eggnog, and plenty of holiday cheer!

The gym fit BERNAL fit offered reduced initiation fees and specialty price packs to help people work off the holiday weight.

Vinorosso hosted artist Todd Berman while visitors enjoyed wine in the parklet.

Todd Berman documented the event with live sketches. This drawing shows the scene at Vinorosso with the artist's work hanging in the window.

Kingmond Young Photography Framing hosted artist Chantal DeCleve, served refreshments, and offered free mat boards all day.

Bernal Star hosted artist Notty Bumbo.

At Vega Pizzeria, guests enjoyed delicious Italian food and half off bottles of wine.

The Bernal Business Alliance hosted a holiday marketplace at the Neighborhood Center with merchants, festive cider, and cookies.

The Bernal Branch Library hosted a book giveaway and shared information about their amazing programs and upcoming events.

The Bold Italic greeted visitors, handed out maps, and gave away prizes in our Uncle Jesse treat machine. We had some amazing giveaways including Poco Dolce chocolates and VIP tickets to Keith Haring "The Political Line" at the de Young Museum.

Our fourth annual Dogpatch Microhood will be January 29, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. We can't wait to see you there!
